Artist Profiles

Kevin Roberts (a.k.a. kdotstudio) is a multi-medium visual and performing artist with a professional background in live theater, event planning, photography, graphic and retail visual design. His current focus is on photography/digital editing and ambient space transformation. His images range from classic portraiture to dream/fantasy surrealism while flipping between architectural, documentary, and textural abstractionist styles. The common thread between them all being bold, dynamic, focused choices. To quote Kevin, “They say an image is worth a thousand words, but I prefer the haiku. I like to show just enough to spark interest and raise questions. I’m pointing out the things I find interesting and asking – ‘What are your thoughts on this?’ I like to leave room for the viewer to join the discussion. Art is a language after all and no one likes to be in a one sided conversation.”

Kevin is a founding member of The Cleveland/Bradley Art is Here Partnership and is currently serving as ArtHouse Project site manager.
