Artist Profiles

Bridget Young is a multidisciplinary artist working across painting and sculpture, guided by exploration, material process, and transformation. While working in the print industry, just before the birth of her first child, art shifted from a creative outlet into a necessary practice—one rooted in expression and reflection.

Her work often incorporates sculptural elements and upcycled materials, allowing process and intuition to shape each piece as it evolves. Through making, Bridget explores emotion, responds to what she observes in the world around her, and invites space for connection and discovery. She is thankful to be part of the ArtHouse Project, where curiosity, experimentation, and community are central to the work.
